➣What is the need to make new Parliament building?
Because present Parliament Building is around 92 years old and space is also less in this building (around 800 MPs), present number of seats is 543 in building but, this will increase and number of seats is bound to rise till 2026, Earthquake Safety issues does not follow norms of safety while building, Parking issues and north south blocks are over 100 years ago.

There are semi circular halls and three chambers in Parliament Building-
  • A library hall,
  • A State Council hall and
  • A Legislative assembly
Government of India didn't decided yet either to maintain present parliament building by renovating it or by making a new Parliament Building.
