What is Black Gold? #UPSC

Scientists of Tata Institute Of Fundamental Research which is situated in Mumbai, India founded a new material which they named as Black Gold. It is named as Black Gold because it is made from Gold.
future importance
Its a fact that Gold(Biscuit) can never absorb Carbon Dioxide(CO) and Sunlight. Gold will get warm because gold is a good conductor of heat but it cannot absorb Sunlight and Carbon Dioxide(CO).
Scientists changed molecular level of gold and nano particles(small particle) of gold and rearrange the gaps between them. This change Gold completely. Scientists used only gold not any other material for making BLACK GOLD. Scientists imposed Gold on Dendritic Fibrous Nanosilica particles and Gold's nano particle changes its property. No gold can absorb Sunlight and CO absorb but this Black Gold can.

Similar to real trees which use Carbon Dioxide(CO) and Sunlight and Water(HO) to produce food. This Black Gold will also act as an Artificial Tree and can make Methane(CH) fuel. Future fuel is Methane(CH). Methane is a clean fuel which is helpful for our among fossil fuels. Methane(CH) will work as a fuel in future. It can also absorb Carbon Dioxide(CO₂) from our atmosphere.

As we know that, India is th member of Paris agreement of climate change and this agreement was signed by India in the year 2016,October. Agreement clearly stated that by the year 2030, 40% electricity should be obtained from non fossil fuels.

This Black gold has the ability to absorb Solar Energy and help to make Solar Panel also. Black Gold when absorbed Solar Energy and the problem of water can also be solved as this Black Gold has the property by which we can convert Seawater into Normal drinking water by the process of Distillation. This will help and can solve the problem of Water.

➺According to NITI Aayog report, 21 cities of India will run out of ground water and demand of water will be doubled in few years or by the year2020.
