PM Modi's Event in Texas.

In 2014, Prime Minister of India Narendra Modi gave speech in Madison Square Garden(MSG) , New York City and about 19,000 Indians were present there. It was an historical event.

HOWDY MODI(will be a mega event) Event will be held in NRG stadium Houston, Texas, USA. Around 50,000 people will be gathered their along with US President Donald Trump.

As we all know that, USA's capital is Washington, D.C(district of Columbia) New York
Texas is a state in USA and it shares border with Mexico. Capital of Texas is Austin. Texas is the second largest state in USA in terms of Landmass and Population. Alaska(a state in USA) came first in terms of Landmass and California(a state in USA, west) is first in terms of Population
California has biggest economy with 3 Trillion (approx.) which is more than Indian economy(14.5 GDP). Texas is not the most important state in USA but, it is important in economic point of view. Texas (8.7 GDP) has a economy of 1.8 trillion(approx.)

Indo-US Relations

Texas, Houston plays a key role in Indo-US Relation and their relation will grow and will develop by this Event.
It is an unconventional choice by PM Modi to hold this event in Texas, Houston
Texas, Houston is important because it is rich in oil and natural gases.
IT(Information Technology)industries are strong. Silicon Valley is in California.
India will buy oil gas from USA. We purchase around 4 billion of gas from USA and this amount will be doubled in next 2-3 years. After China, India is the 3rd largest oil consuming countries.

India and U.S relations are based on 3 pillars-
  • Defense
  • Long term Strategic Reliance and
  • Energy Requirements
India stopped taking Oil from Venezuela, oil and natural gas from Iran for USA as USA will provide oil gases in concession to India.
India will purchase oils by USA and trade deficit will reduce and relations will get strong.
