Pakistan relation with Israel #UPSC

Some scholars of Israel states that there will be diplomatic tie between Pakistan and Israel. Israel was made in the year 1948.
There was a time when many countries(including India) were not giving recognition to Israel except few countries like Turkey, Egypt and Jordan only gave recognition to Israel and it has been trying to overcome and enhance the diplomatic relations with other countries.

Israel is now a powerful country. Israel has large majority of UN member states and it has developed good relations with other countries. India opposes Israel to not get admission in UN.

India gave recognition to Israel in the year 1950 but not completely. India ties with Israel diplomatically in the year 1992. Israel relations with China are limited.

Pakistan is establishing relation with Israel because we all know that Pakistan and America relations are not good and America supports Israel so, they think that by maintaining such relations with Israel, Pakistan and America's relation will also get good in future and tension will also be reduced between Pakistan and America.

But Israel's image may get affected by supporting a state that supports terrorism. No one will get benefited by this tie between Israel and Pakistan.

  • Innovation sector improved
  • Agriculture partnership and Water conservation
  • Medical and Pharma sector cooperation
  • Counter-Terrorism and intelligence sharing
  • Military and Strategic tied
  • Space collaboration
  • Industry Government connection is good.
Both India and Israel should focus on bilateral trade as bilateral trade is less. Connection between these countries is poor. People to People interaction is less and cultural differences are also there.

Goods and Services Tax(GST) The Rajya Sabha passed the Goods and Services Tax(GST) Bill unopposed on 3 August 2016. This bill has already been passed by the Lok Sabha.
